A Stroll Through Lavender Fields at Terre Bleu Lavender Farm

If you live in the Greater Toronto Area and love the outdoors then I guarantee, you already have heard of Terre Bleu Lavender Fields located in the quant & quiet Campbellville. An organic and sustainable lavender farm, which is family owned and run. They dedicate their work to growing organic lavender and educating others of the importance of growing organically and personal well being.

This organic lavender farm is made of every little girls dreams of visiting France. When you first drive up the property is surrounded with white fence and a small grey barn/shop. You are immediately hit with the fresh and rich aroma of the lavender and if you listen closely you can hear the humming of honey bees.

The setting is peaceful, relaxing and visually appetizing. Your eyes don't know where to look as the fields look as though they have been painted by the finest of artists. It is not surprising that the farm hosts yoga and mediation sessions along the rows of the lavender.

The property is a large landscape set up with long rows of lavender, along with equestrian show gates and obstacles, multiple small barns, gazebos, forestry and trails. The main attraction of Terre Bleu is the Yellow door and bench, which brings forth droves of tourist looking for the perfect pictures.

On this particular day, My sisters Marissa and Vanessa joined me for a day in the fields.

I opted for a simple and fresh look that was fit for a day of heat and picking flowers (but there was no picking of the lavender.) I choose to wear a linen, cream and navy striped dress from J.Crew. I picked it up last year but never had a chance to wear it, I thought that it went perfectly with the aesthetic of lavender and aged barn wood.

I paired this dress with a pair of closed toe, espadrille wedges in grey and cream by Sam Edelman. They were super comfortable and allowed stability as I walked through the trails and fields. Espadrilles have been a trend piece for the past couple of summers, I believe they are now a classic shoe choice if you are looking for comfort while still looking stylish.

For my accessories I decided to keep it really simple. More so because of the heat then anything else. I like having less then more when it comes to being out doors and I like having my hands free.

Speaking of hands free, I choose to use my Bali rounded woven bag that have been the go to choice for summer fashion for every blogger. It was practical because I could sling it over my shoulder, or cross body and not have to worry about it getting dirty. It is one of the most fuss free bags and look fantastic in all photos. I think it went perfectly with the dress and added to that rustic feel that I was going for.

Lastly, I finished off my look with a pair of tortuous shell cat eye subclass that I have feature before from ILY MIX and a cold sparky choker from Forever 21.

I think this look was fuss free, simple yet still chic and put together. I think the colour combinations of all the neutrals went well with the rustic or french inspired lavender fields.

Let me know what you think ! Thanks for reading !

XoXo,

Christina
