SWATCH Watch Collaboration - The New Skin Irony Collection

Hello again readers,

You may have seen on my instastories a couple of weeks ago that I attended a very special dinner event for swatch watches. The event was for the launch of the new line of SWATCH watches called Skin Irony.

I had the pleasure of being able to try on and view the entire collection at this launch and with each piece I found that they paired perfectly with my outfit. There is a sense of modernity in these designs making them the future classic go to time pieces.

The line features eight new designs with silicon, leather and metal bands, offering desirability no matter the customer.

They are extremely light to the touch, yet are full of detail which speak to the quailty that SWATCH is known for.

The piece that I ended up choosing is called Skinpole. It is a light weight stainless steel metal band and face watch. It is simple, modern and classic . It is exactly what I look for when I am investing in my accessories. I like my accessories to be a stample in my wardrobe for years to come and to stand the test of time! (no pun intended)

The band is absolutely stunning and shiny, acting like jewelry more so then a watch band. Yet, in contrast there is a sense of masculinity to the face of the watch which is chunky and very present on your wrist. Skinpole immediately attracted me and I knew I had to have it.

The face of the watch is numberless, minimal and has a chrome shine finish which catches natural light with perfection.

One of my favourite aspects of the band is that you can adjust it to fit any write size. This is often a problem for me when looking for watches because my wrist is very tiny. This watch perfectly adjusts to fit my wrist comfortably.

Lastly, on the back side of the watch there is a multitude of little touches which I quite enjoy. It lists all the positive features on the back of the face which includes: Swiss Made, Water Resistant, Battery 315/SR716SW, Stainless steel and Patented SWACTH logo. What a nice touch!

Fun fact about the brand:

Did you know that SWATCH means second watch ?

I didn't!
